Poem

Hey there you, you social butterfly!
On kaleidoscopic wings you flutter by.
How do you speak to flowers with such ease?
-Drawing nectar, nature has forbidden me-
I see you move about so gracefully
You seem to know the garden very well:
You’re sure to skip the Venus and her trap!
These blossoms they all think you’re quite the vamp:
Out to steal some Bird of Paradise.
Little do they know; you love a tramp:
A flower contemplating heaven’s prize;
A Stargazer that captures roving eyes.
These honeysuckles do for idle chat
But not everyone has heaven in their hat.
